prayer of origen of alexandria
(c. 185 - 254)
may the Lord Jesus put His hands on our eyes also, for then we too shall begin to look not at what is seen but at what is not seen. may He open the eyes that are concerned not with the present but with that is yet to come,
MAY HE UNSEAL THE HEART'S VISION,
that we may gaze on God in the Spirit, through the same Lord, Jesus Christ, Whose glory and power will endure throughout the unending succession of ages.

i realize now why you like fragments. you think in fragments. almost like afterthoughts because photographs come out as "after the fact" and while your mind absorbs the beauty of the moment and the whole essence of it, you are speechless.
you're an afterthought person. haha. :-P
yes!!! i had that revelation either yesterday or the day before yesterday... we were talking about feeling like there's no time to reflect.
i take photos because sometimes moments pass too quickly for me to be able to get over the impact and process what i'm feeling. so all of this... is my way of remembering. once, in an old post in my old blog, i said something about all the forms of recount (photos, writing) i do is like living a second life.
it's a nice warm cozy feeling that you've realized this too without me telling you yet. :)
