today was the psychology exam. liana and i find it quite funny we are taking the same exam although we're in differn't schools. she asks, "what's your candiate number?" and i am floored. i realize i don't have one. i am not listed to take the exam. i send out a couple of emails to teachers i think can help, and try not to panic so much. maybe it's just a mistake. i decide to go to school a little earlier to straighten things out.
then my mom calls home, and says mrs dale called to ask why i wasn't in school. she said i wasn't listed to have a study leave, because i wasn't listed in for the exam at 2pm.
after a frenzy of anxiety, i find the right teachers in school who discuss it casually. mr connolly says, "oh yeah, is there a way to list her in?" and suddenly it doesn't seem like the big mountain i had perceived it to be in the beginning. in three minutes flat, my mood swings from crazily anxious to one that made me be that girl smiling while walking down the hallway with a slight bounce to her step.
the exam went all right, i did the best i could and the greatest thing is, it's over. haha.
i ended up helping out in the art room after my exam. i meant to do catch-up work, but had forgotten about and had left my materials in the car. "it's a good thing you forgot your screen printing stuff," ms buchanan laughed, "now we can use you to help out with this!" drawing grids are the worst thing to do in the process of large-scale art, really. (the school is doing a production of Fame, and need several panels of canvas painted for their use. "you're welcome to help out every night of next week!" it's odd that a student helping out was such an unusual thing to them.
i walked out of school at 5pm today, and it felt like it was late at night. i wasn't cold although i only had a suede jacket on and sans hand warmers too.
walking in the night somehow gives so much peace. this bus stop was void except for me, and my psychology notebook which sat on the bench. you can (sort of) see that my bus, number 413, is due to arrive at this time. i only had to wait four minutes.
