i spent about six hours working on my final sculpture today, from 9:55am to 3pm. my neck and back ache and most parts of my hands are dry and peeling from working with modroc... but it was well worth it. i hope i can find more stuff so i can make it bigger and taller.

seeing how this is turning out, i'm not sure if i still want to wrap a strand of thick wire around it. the little pieces are becoming quite detailed - like this little ripped and crumpled page of dictionary here, with the word and definition of create is highlighted - and i don't want the attention to be diverted from that. but we shall see how the art moves.

the contents of this so far: a student dictionary (see day 028), two undershirts (sando), three starbucks paper cups, two starbucks paper cup lids, two starbucks cup sleeves, and half a cardboard cup holder.

am hoping to find some of my old trinkets and toys, the little things of the past that i would like to throw away but can't, to put into this. this way i'll be getting rid of them, but not really putting them to waste.
